It is the acronym for Fake Out Of Home. It involves placing 3D computer-generated marketing or branding elements integrated into real-world images.
They can range from roll-up banners to any moving or stationary element that can be integrated into any real environment.
Why is it trendy?
Currently, with all the information we receive on social media through videos, it is essential that we keep users engaged and, even more importantly, that they share our video because they liked it and/or were impressed by it. That is where this type of advertising comes in. As they are short, eye-catching videos, they have a very high engagement rate and are shared and viewed many times.
